Scheduled Automations for Existing Lists allow you to create automated email campaigns that are sent to your entire list at a specific time, similar to a broadcast campaign. This feature combines the flexibility of automated journeys with the ease of scheduling broadcasts.

How to Use Scheduled Automations

  1. Create a new automation: Choose the "Existing List" type when creating a new automation.

  2. Design your journey: Build a sequence of emails with conditional logic and triggers, just like you would with a regular automated journey.

  3. Schedule your campaign: Once you save the automation, you will be returned to the automations listing where you will see the scheduling (clock icon). Set a start date and time for your automation.

Once done, this will create a task

If you schedule broadcasts you will know that a task is created for each scheduled campaign. The same is true with scheduled "Existing List" campaigns.

This allows you to view, edit or even delete schedules, just as you would with a broadcast. However, due to their hybrid nature, these tasks have their own dedicated screen. You will not see them under the regular "Schedules" panel which only lists regular broadcasts.

In order to view the schedules panel, click on the clock icon on any of your scheduled automations. When you do so, you will see a popup with the scheduling feature that you know and love from broadcasts.

Notice that when you click on the "View schedules" button, it will take you to the dedicated panel listing scheduled automations. Here you can delete schedules, or edit them. Just as you would with regular broadcast schedules.
