Copy/Export Automation

In this guide, you will learn how to create a copy of an existing automation using the export and import feature.

Why copy an automation?

Duplicating an automation is useful when you want to:

  • Reuse an existing workflow

  • Make small changes without affecting the original

  • Save time instead of building from scratch

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Campaigns → Automations

  2. Locate the automation you want to copy

  3. Open the automation

  4. Click Export

  5. Select Copy to Clipboard

    • You’ll see a confirmation that the automation link has been copied

  6. Open a new tab in your browser

  7. Paste the copied link into the address bar

  8. You will be prompted to import the automation

  9. Click Yes, Import

Quick tip

After importing, make sure to:

  • Rename your automation

  • Review triggers and settings

  • Enable it only when you’re ready
