Question:
​I have my own external tracker for links, can I still use them?

Answer:
​Yes you can still use your own external tracker and our tracker will be the first visible link. This is the branded url inside URL manager under click. 

Rule of thumb though is too many redirects may cause inboxing issues with some ISP's. For example Gmail doesnt like more than 2 redirects. 

Question:
If I use my own external tracker links, will I still be able to track clicks for me in Emercury reporting?

Answer:
​If you select the track links inside Emercury then it will track the links in Emercury reporting. If you deselect tracking then we will have no way to track the links. This will also make it harder to segment through Emercury if you deselect tracking. 

We always recommend selecting tracking and masking to keep the url branded as well as collecting click information for segmenting engagement later on.
