Why is my campaign blocked?

If your campaign is marked as Blocked, it means our system detected content that may violate our sending policies.

To protect recipients and maintain deliverability, the campaign is automatically placed into review.

When this happens, your campaign will show as Yellow, which means it is In Review.

If you try to send a campaign while it’s in review, you’ll see this message:

Your campaign must be approved by an Administrator. You will get an email once it is approved.

Until an Administrator reviews and approves the campaign, you will not be able to send your campaign.

What causes a campaign to be blocked?

A campaign can be blocked for a few reasons:

Prohibited or inappropriate language

Your message may include words or phrases that are considered unsafe or not allowed.

Blocked or unsafe links

If your campaign contains a link that is on a blocklist or is considered risky (for example, phishing, malware, or suspicious domains), the campaign will be blocked.

Redirect links that lead to blocked destinations

Even if the visible link looks fine, redirects can send recipients somewhere else. If the final destination is blocked, your campaign can be blocked too.

What happens when a campaign is blocked?

When a campaign is In Review, the campaign is saved, but sending is disabled. You cannot send or schedule the campaign while it is blocked or in review. If the campaign was already scheduled, it will not be sent at the scheduled time, and scheduled campaigns will not go out while the campaign remains blocked or in review.

The campaign will stay under review until it is approved or rejected.

What happens after review?

After review, the campaign will end up in one of these states:

Approved

  • Your campaign is cleared to send.

  • You can now send immediately or schedule it.

Important: If your campaign was previously scheduled while blocked/in review, you will need to schedule it again after approval.

Rejected / Still blocked

  • The campaign cannot be sent. It will show Red in your Campaign Manager.

How do I get approved?

Our Abuse team will review your campaign content. If they find anything that could cause delivery issues or does not comply with our policies, the campaign may remain blocked or be rejected.

If you have questions or want an update, you can contact our Support team at any time to check the status of your campaign.
