Sending a test campaign allows you to preview your email exactly as your contacts will see it. This is ideal for checking design, links, etc..
Note: To send a test, you need to have at least one active Brand Profile
Before You Send a Test
Before you can send a test campaign, make sure to configure your Test Group:
Navigate to the Test Group settings. In Campaigns, you can find it in the Send test drop-down, and in Create a Campaign, you can find it in the right corner as an Edit Test Group button.
2. Add the email addresses that should receive the test.
Note: You can add or remove contacts from this list at any time.
Two Ways to Send a Test Campaign
1. From the Campaigns
Go to the Campaigns section (from the Campaigns dropdown, choose Broadcast Campaigns)
Find the campaign you want to test and select the campaign.
In the right corner from the Send test dropdown, choose Send Test option.
You will see a pop-up box with the question Are you sure you want to send this test message now?, choose Yes.
This is a quick way to test a campaign without opening the full editor.
2. From Within the Campaign Editor
Open your campaign in the Create Campaign editor.
In the right corner, click Send Test button.
The test will be sent to the email addresses you configured in your Test Group.
This method is great for testing while actively working on content or layout.
Note: Reporting from the sent test, you will see under Reporting> Sent Tests.
