Summary: Setting up a Brand Profile

Before you can send your first campaign, you need to create a Brand Profile. This is a one-time setup for each brand you plan to mail from.

Steps Overview

  1. Create a Brand Profile

    • Go to Settings β†’ Brand Profiles β†’ Add.

    • Enter a profile name (internal only) and your From email address.

    • Verify the From email

  2. Authenticate Your Domain

    • Add the required DKIM and SPF records in your DNS host (e.g. GoDaddy, cPanel).

    • If you already have an SPF record, simply include an entry for Emercury.

    • Use the built-in checker to confirm that DKIM/SPF are valid.

  3. Set Your Reply-To Address

    • You can use the same as your From address, or add a separate one (with verification).

  4. Configure Brand URLs

    • Add three CNAME records:

      • img (image masking)

      • url (click tracking)

      • track (footer & forward-to-friend tracking)

    • Verify them using the system check tool.

  5. Complete Organization Info & Footer

    • Add your organization name, address, footer alignment, and optional logo/text.

    • Add a Verification Key we will send a DNS TXT record to add to the root of your domain via chat.
