The process of switching plans to a different plan is done inside the Emercury panel. In this example we are showing you how to change your monthly plan by either upgrading or downgrading and this is done in the Billing Settings under Plans.

Monthly Plan Downgrade

Downgrading your plan may require you to remove subscribers from your list if you are over the subscriber limit.  For example if you are currently on Level 5 plan and your list has 15000 active subscribers and you want to downgrade to the Level 4 plan, then you would have to remove 5000 subscribers from your list. As a reminder you are not able to remove subscribers that have been mailed in the past 30 days.

Next click the Purchase button next to the plan you want to downgrade to. In this example we are choosing Level 4 since we were on Level 5.

Once you have selected the plan you will be prompted to provide your credit card information or to select the already saved card you have on file. Once payment is received your plan is automatically updated.

Monthly Plan Upgrade

Upgrading your plan to a higher plan doesn't require you to do anything unlike with downgrading.

Go to 'Settings' on the top right corner of your panel. Then go to Billing Settings and click Plans

Next you will want to select the Purchase button next to the plan you would like to upgrade to. In this example we are upgrading from Level 5 to Level 8.

Once you select the Purchase button you will then be prompted for your credit card information or to select a card that is already on file.

Once payment is received your plan is automatically updated.

That's it! That was easy, wasn't it? Any other questions please let us know.
